Basic Sexual Health Course - priced for 20 people,(additional places £25 per person) excludes travel and accommodation if required. 

This course aims to provide learners with the knowledge required to support young people in health and social care settings. It provides information on the different types, of contraception, sexual infections, and associated conditions, as well as providing guidance on legislation, roles and responsibilities to those they support and to those that employ them.

On completion, learners will have an increased understanding of how sexual health work is a key aspect of working in the health and social sector..

On completion of this course learners will be able to:

·         Describe relevant legislation

·         Define roles and responsibilities in health and social care settings

·         Identify the rights of an individual to access medical advise and care

·          Developed a basic understanding of contraception

·         Developed a basic understanding of sexually shared infections and associated conditions
